The
Perfect Non-Magnifying Optic! 
This is by far the best
non-magnifying optic I have ever used. The fine sub-MOA dot is great for precision shooting
with both eyes open both up close and at distances of 150+ yards. This is a much more
flexible and intuitive system than the huge triangle, chevrons, or large MOA dots used in
other optics, which obscure the target and limit use to CQB applications only. Truly the
best non-magnifying optic on the market at any price.

Great Gun Sight.
I love this sight! The crosshair reticle
makes for VERY fast target aquisition, and the small dot makes precise shooting possible. The
design of the sight encourages both-eyes-open use, which allows for an unobstructed field of
view. Plus, it looks REALLY slick on my rifle.

Eotech 512...Excellent Product.
Obviously this company has a reputation for quality, and the 512
is no exception. Installation is easy, zeroing is easy, and it's works with both eyes open. I
haven't used a lot of the other high end optics in a similar $ range(for example aimpoint), but
I don't see the reason to go there. This thing works like a charm and is clearly pretty rugged.
I went with the AA version so I wouldn't have to stress about burning out the little batteries
and can leave the sight on overnight, etc.

Everything I Expected and More!
Couldn't be happier with this scope, it is
exactly what I was hoping for. Mounted on my armalite in about 30 seconds (rifle already had
flat top & picatinny rail), simply tighten with an allen wrench and it is ready to go.
Recticle is clear, will show up anywhere if part of lens is cracked/dirty, and brightness is
adjustable. I wouldnt mind a slight magnification as my eyes get worse, but as it is still
50-75 yds no problem, and can swap out a leupold scope for distance shooting in under a
minute.

According to the gerneral online consense (where
research is based on unbiased, non-vested comments & Articles), the Eotech 512 sight
is an excellent gun sight.
In almost all cases the users found it to be an amazing sight. The
only con we could find that users mentioned was that it's a bit pricey, however
if you want quality you have to pay for it.
Verdict:
If you're looking for a high quality holographic
red dot sight with great features and specs, then definetly consider
the Eotech 512 sight.
